Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Score Reports

The Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Score Reports show how your students performed in each claim, block, domain, or strand within the selected test subject and grade.

Accessing the Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Reports

You can access the Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Score Report from any other score report using the Exploration Menu.

To navigate to a Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Report:

1.Click Exploration Menu Icon next to the entity whose report you wish to view. The Exploration Menu opens (see Navigating Score Reports with the Exploration Menu).

2.From the What drop-down list, select Claims, Blocks, Domains, or Strands, as applicable.

3. From the When drop-down list, select Current Admin.

4.From the other drop-down lists, select values as necessary and click View. The selected report opens.

Understanding the Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Reports

Depending on your user role, you can view the Claim, Block, Domain, and Strand Detail Report at different aggregation levels. For example, if you are a teacher, you can view data for all your rosters, all your students in a particular roster (see Student Listing Report), or for an individual student (see Individual Student Reports).

Column Description
Name The name of the entity whose data is displayed.
Number of Students The number of students to date who submitted the selected test for scoring.
Average Scale Score The average score and standard error of the mean of students who completed the scaled tests.
Percent Proficient The percentage of students who scored at Level 3 or above in the selected test.
Claims The name of the claims within the selected subject.

Claim Average Scale Score

The average claim scale score and standard error of the mean of students who have completed the selected test.

Percent at Each Claim Achievement Category

The percent of students at each claim proficiency level, computed over all students’ most recent test opportunities.

Column Description
Name The name of the entity whose data is displayed.
Number of Students Tested at Least One Block The number of students to date who submitted tests for at least one block.
Blocks The name of the block within the selected subject. For example, Editing and Research are sample blocks within the ELA subject.
Number of Students Tested The number of students who tested in that block computed over all students’ most recent test opportunities.
Percentage in Each Block Achievement Category The percent of students at each block achievement category, computed over all students’ most recent test opportunities.

Column Description
Name The name of the entity whose data is displayed.
Number of Students The number of students to date who submitted the selected test for scoring.
Average Overall Scale Score

The average score and standard error of the mean of students who completed the selected test.

ELPA21 Screener does not include average overall scale scores.

Average Comprehension Scale Score

The average comprehension (Reading and Listening) scale score and standard error of the mean of students who have completed the selected test.

ELPA21 Screener does not include average comprehension scale scores.

Percent Determined Proficient The percentage of students who were proficient in the selected test.
Domain The name of the domains within the selected subject.
Average Domain Scale Score

The average domain scale score and standard error of the mean of students who have completed the selected test.

ELPA21 Screener does not include average domain scale scores.

Percent at Each Domain Performance Level The percent of students at each domain performance level.
