Warning

Due to the adaptive format of this test, the accurate initial entry of responses in the FSAA—Performance Task is critical. After navigating to the next task, you cannot change previously entered responses. If an entry error has occurred, pause the test and create a request in TIDE to reset the test.

Test Rules

Basic Test Rules

• Select the appropriate test form in the Select Test Form page. Ensure the test form matches the test form of the test booklet.
• You must enter a response for every test item.

Navigation Rules

• You can navigate to any available test page by clicking the Back or Next buttons or selecting an option from the Items drop-down list at the top of the page.

Overview of the Data Entry Interface

The following test tools are available:

• Global Tools: These tools appear in the global menu at the top of the screen.

Global Tools	Description
Help button	To view the on-screen Test Instructions and Help page, select the ? button in the upper-right corner.
Navigation buttons	To move between test pages, use the Back and Next buttons in the upper-left corner.
Notes	To enter notes in an on-screen notepad, select Notes in the global menu. These notes are available globally and can be accessed from any page in the test. Advanced editing features, such as word and character count, spell check, and text formatting options are available. The text entered in this tool can be copied and pasted into text response areas.
Items drop-down list	To quickly navigate to a specific item, select the item number from the drop-down list in the upper-left corner. Items that were marked for review display in this list.
Pause button	To pause a test, select Pause in the global menu.
Finished button	This button appears after you enter data for all questions. Click this button to begin the test submission process.
Zoom buttons	To enlarge the text and images on a test page, select Zoom In in the global menu. You can zoom in up to four levels. To undo zooming, select Zoom Out in the global menu.
