Online AIRWays Authoring User Guide
This online guide provides an overview of the tasks and features available in AIRWays Authoring. AIRWays Authoring allows you to perform the following tasks:
- Authoring Original Tests: You can create and edit the content for original tests on the Test Content Editor page. For more information, see the section Creating a New Test.
- Publishing Your Tests: You can specify who can proctor your published tests and the dates on which it will be available for administration (the test window). For more information, see the section Publishing a Test.
- Authoring Original Items: You can create and edit the content for test items (questions) from the Test Content Editor page, or you can create content for original items individually on the Item Content Editor page. For more information, see the section Creating New Items Individually.
- Creating Original Standards Publications: Standards publications can be associated with your items in order to identify the skills and knowledge areas those items evaluate. You can create or upload original standards publications form the Standards Editor page. For more information, see the section Authoring Standards Publications.
- Collaborating with Other Users: You can share your original tests, items, and standards publications with other AIRWays Authoring users or workgroups (custom groups of users). For more information, see the section Sharing Tests, Items, and Standards Publications.
Note: The Appendices in this user guide provide an overview of the AIRWays Authoring Homepage, information about test and item statuses, instructions for using text editors, and an overview of the tools available to students in your original tests.
