Content Sharing in ATLAS Classroom Tool and TDS

Content in ATLAS Classroom Tool can be shared between users in two primary ways:

A user’s specific sharing permissions are dependent upon their individual TIDE user role, as well as the status of the content that needs to be shared.

Share in ATLAS Classroom Tool

Content shared to ATLAS Classroom Tool can be used for collaboration between users and for finalizing items and tests.

Access Content Shared in ATLAS Classroom Tool:

  1. Log in to ATLAS Classroom Tool and select either the Items or Tests tabs. The Item Filters or Test Filters panel opens automatically.

  2. Within the Item Filters or Test Filters panel, expand the Libraries filter option.

  3. Select either the Items Shared With Me or Tests Shared With Me libraries. Select Apply Filters. The content table will update automatically.

Item Filters panel with the Libraries section expanded to list Items I Created, Items Shared with Me, and various libraries.

Share to TDS

Sharing to TDS allows users to grant other users permission to administer a test in TDS. This is particularly helpful when creating a common assessment that other educators need to administer to students.

Access Tests Shared to TDS

Once a test is shared to TDS, the shared user can only access this assessment in the TA Interface. These tests will be available in a TDS test category called Tests Shared with Me. For more information about administering tests, refer to the Test Administration User Guide.

You can administer a shared assessment through the following steps:

  1. Log in to the TA Interface. The Test Administration Dashboard opens automatically. To start a session, from the Active Sessions tab, select Start a New Session Now or Start a Remote Session.

  2. From Select Tests tab, select Tests Shared with Me at the bottom of the testing category options.

  3. If a pop-up for selecting an institution appears, select an institution and then select Go.

  4. Select the assessment you want to administer.
