ISR for Indiana Assessments
The ISR for Indiana Assessments may include the following information (available information depends on the selected test):
- Overall Performance on the [Assessment Name] Test: [Student Name], [Administration]—Depending on the assessment selected, this table may include:
- The student’s name and student identification number.
- The student’s overall scale score
- The
- The performance level associated with the student’s score for a test opportunity (ISTEP+ Grade 10 only).
- The student’s reported Lexile measure that reflects the student’s reading ability. This is only applicable for ELA tests.
- The student’s reported Quantile measure that reflects the student’s mathematical achievement. This is only applicable for Mathematics tests.
- The College and Career Readiness indicator based on the student’s test score (ILEARN Mathematics and ILEARN English/Language Arts only).
- The student’s passing status (IREAD-3, ISTEP+ grade 10, and ILEARN U.S. Government ECA only).
- Scale Score, Passing Status, and Performance on the [Assessment Name] Test: [Student Name], [Administration]—This graph depicts the student’s proficiency level based on their overall scale score. It also depicts the Highest Obtainable Scale Score (HOSS) and the Lowest Obtainable Scale Score (LOSS) values for the test at the top and bottom of the chart.
- Performance on the [Assessment Name] Test by Reporting Category or Strand: [Student Name], [Administration]—This table includes:
- The student’s performance level in each of the reporting categories or strands for the test. The reporting category or strand proficiency legend on the top of the report is provided for understanding what the symbols represent.
- Information on the Lexile Measure—This text box provides a description of the Lexile measure for parents and educators. This text box is only displayed if the Lexile score is included in the ISR.
- Information on the Quantile Measure—This text box provides a description of the Quantile measure for parents and educators. This text box is only displayed if the Quantile score is included in the ISR.
- Average Scale Scores on the [Assessment Name] Test: [Entity] and Comparison Groups, [Administration]—This table includes average scale score for the state, corporation, and school with which the student is associated. Depending on the entity-level from which the ISR has been accessed, the report may also include the average scale score for the teacher and the roster associated with the student.
Note: The average scale score for the state may only be available after all state testing has been completed.

This table does not appear on ISRs for ILEARN US Government tests.
- Writing Performance on the [Assessment Name] Test, Based on the Writing Task Rubric: [Student Name], [Administration]—This table provides information about the student’s performance on the Writing test, which includes one essay. If a student’s writing performance cannot be scored, the table displays the reason for which the essay could not be scored.
