Column Description
Assessment Name

Name of the test. To access the Student Performance on Test report for an assessment, select the assessment name.

Test Group Type of test.
Test Grade Grade associated with the test.
Test Reason Category assigned to a test opportunity. Typically indicates the timeframe in which an interim or benchmark test was taken.
Student Count Since this report is for an individual student, the number in this column is always 1, except in the expandable comparison rows (refer to the instructions below), where it displays the number of students who took this test for this test reason.
Score

Individual student’s score for the assessment.

When a test does not use numeric scores, this column may read “n/a”.

Performance

Individual student’s performance level for the assessment.

When a test does not use performance levels, this column may read “n/a”.

Date Taken Date on which the student most recently completed this assessment.

When a student completed multiple test opportunities for a given assessment, a row of data appears for each opportunity. Star symbol indicating that the opportunity is used in aggregates appears next to the highest-performing opportunity or the most recent one (depending on the test), and that opportunity is used for aggregation purposes. Only data for one opportunity is used to calculate the average scores and performance distributions for the student's associated teachers and institutions.

To compare the student’s performance with that of your state, complex area, complex, school, and/or total associated students:

Select Compare with aggregates button to the right of an assessment name. Additional rows expand below that row, showing data for larger groups of students. State data may be delayed depending on your state’s policies. By comparing your student with larger groups, you can make sure they are performing on par with their peers and take action if they’re not.

To hide the comparison rows, select Compare with aggregates close button.
