Assign a Room Scribe to Mark the Official Standards

During the Final Moderation step of the standard setting process, a Panelist acting as the Room Scribe enters the official proficiency standard cut values Cut values are the thresholds between two proficiency standards in the ordered item booklet (OIB). For example, if items 1-10 in a booklet require a different proficiency level than items 11-20, then the cut value is placed at item 11. for the ordered item booklet An ordered item booklet (OIB) is a set of test items arranged from easiest to most difficult, based on actual student performance data.. In order for this step to occur, the Room Lead must designate which Panelist will act as the Room Scribe.

1. To select which Panelist will act as the Room Scribe, click in the top-right corner. The Assign Room Scribe window pops up.
2. Select the name of the Panelist who should act as Room Scribe and click Submit.
