Communicating with Students in a Remote Test Session
In remote test sessions, there are additional features you can use to communicate with the students.
Broadcasting Messages to Students Simultaneously
Once students have joined a remote session, you can communicate with all the students at once using the broadcast feature on the TA Site. Broadcast messages to students pop up as announcements on each student’s screen.
1.From the test sessions page on the TA Site, select . The Broadcast window pops up.
2.In the Type a new message field, type your message and then select . Your message automatically appears on the testing device of each student in the session.
Students can respond to broadcast messages using the Chat window on their devices. Chat messages sent from students appear only on your screen; not on the screens of other students in the session. When a student sends a message, a notification appears in the TA Site. For more information, see Viewing Student Messages.
Observing Students Testing Remotely
