Verifying that Paper Scoring Works in the Paper Response Tester

The Paper Response Tester allows you to test the scoring functionality of paper-based interactions and verify that they will be scored correctly.

This rubric tool is only available after you select the Paper Content button on the IAT homepage and create paper-based interactions for the item.

To use the Paper Response Tester:

1.From the Rubrics dropdown list on the IAT homepage, select Paper Response Tester. The Paper Rubric Tester window appears, displaying a tab on the left for each paper-based interaction in the item (Figure 206).

2.Select the tab for the interaction you wish to test.

3.Click the answer bubbles of your choice.

4.Click Score. The score for your sample response appears in a pop-up.
