Overview of Longitudinal Reports

Longitudinal Reports show how the student or students in an Assessment Report performed on related assessments over time. They can span multiple school years. These reports are only available when students in an Assessment Report have completed at least one other related assessment, or have taken the same assessment more than once. Longitudinal Reports help you understand how students’ performance has improved or declined.

Assessment Program determines which assessments are related to each other. Typically, related assessments are on the same subject.

Each Longitudinal Report displays performance data for one of the following:

You can filter the tests in a Longitudinal Report. Changing the selected tests may affect how many students are included in the common student group used to calculate the data in the report. For more information on filtering Longitudinal Reports, refer to Filtering Tables.

To open a Longitudinal Report:

1.Select the Build Longitudinal Report button in the Features & Tools menu.

2.The Longitudinal Report window appears. It may display either the Longitudinal Report itself or a report options page. The contents of the latter page may vary.
