Entering or Modifying Item Scores

Centralized Reporting allows authorized users to enter or modify scores for certain non-secure, non-public items:

• Unscored Items: These are items that require hand scoring and arrive in Centralized Reporting without any scores. All field-authored writing items must be scored by hand. For more information, refer to Entering Scores for Unscored Items and Submitting Scored Test Opportunities for Processing.
  • You may also be able to assign test opportunities to other users for scoring. For more information, refer to Assigning Test Opportunities to Be Scored by Hand.
• Machine-Scored Items: These items would typically require hand scoring, but arrive in Centralized Reporting with automated scores generated by the machine scoring system, which can be overridden by users. • Hand-Scored Items Whose Scores Can Be Modified: For more information, refer to Modifying Scores for Machine-Scored Items in Reports.
