Upload Steps for Standard Setting Sessions

The Steps template allows you to specify which steps will be included in the standard setting session.

Sheet Column Description
Steps StepNumber

Point at which this step is performed in the standard setting workflow.

Controls form-step associations.
Steps Description Description of what occurs during this step. This appears for all user views in the Standard Setting Tool.
Steps Type

One of the following:

  • Pause: During this type of step, no actions will be available to Panelists in the Standard Setting Tool.

  • Booklet: During this step, Panelists will be able to view the associated form in the Standard Setting Tool.

  • Feedback: During this step, Panelists will be able to review the feedback from Psychometricians on the Feedback and Prior Feedback tabs of the Review Panel.

  • Moderation: During this step, the Room Scribe will be able to set the official cut values for the item booklet.
Steps RoundNumber The round number for a step that is performed more than once. Controls round-step association and order of feedback data presented.
Steps ShowMarks

If set to TRUE, this indicates that Panelists will be setting marks during this step.
Steps PanelistImpacts Controls which specific impacts will be presented. Must match the Impact value used in other files.
RoomSteps RoomNumber Number for the room that will be performing this step.
RoomSteps StepNumber

Point at which this step is performed in the standard setting workflow.
RoomSteps Form

The name of the item booklet or test form that will display to panelists during this step.

Must match the name of a form uploaded in the Forms template.
